Nutrient film technique (commonly known as NFT) is a method of growth, and the roots of microgreens dissolve all the ingredients needed in a depth-free circulating nutrient-rich water. There is no solid rooting medium. The root pad is not completely in the depth of the circulating water stream and partly in it. The water flow is very shallow, and the upper surface of the root pad develops above the water surface and is somewhat moist in the air. Around the roots in the air, there is a nutrient film - hence the name Nutritional membrane technology. If the root system is immersed in water, it will be comparable to the condition of the water recorded soil. The only oxygen that can be contacted is dissolved oxygen in the circulating water. In order to avoid this situation, the body of the nutrition film must be maintained.
